I felt like mixing things up and adding a bit of spice and Korean flavor to my chicken bowls. This one isn’t really the best for kids because of the spice but if you like spicy food, it’s a good recipe with solid macros. As with the case with my recipes, it’s an easy one to make to.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pat chicken dry and trim excess fat
- Mix gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and water in a bowl. Because of the honey, this marinade can be pretty thick so just do your best in mixing it well
- Add the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes but ideally you want to do this overnight in the fridge.
- Cook the mixture in a large pan and pour over 1/2 cup of rice per serving. I added green onions because I’m fancy like that.
